Rehabilitation Services

We’re committed to providing holistic care that supports your journey back to full health and function.

Our rehabilitation services are designed to help you recover and regain strength after an injury or surgery. Simon has extensive experience working with patients following arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements, ACL-reconstructions and shoulder and ankle stabilisation surgery.

He is passionate about the role of “pre-hab” rehabilitation prior to surgery that can aid recovery following surgery and in some cases individuals avoid surgery altogether. He has a special interest in hips, knees and shoulders. Furthermore, he enjoys the challenge of complicated problems, especially sporting hip and groin injuries.

Simon is one of a small group of clinicians with post graduate training in both sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and he has been treating neck and back problems in private practice for over 30 years.

Starting with discussing and assessing your spinal problem, followed by analysing your movement patterns, he then uses a clinical assessment to understand your pain. Simon utilises his hands-on manual therapy skills and supplement his treatment techniques with exercises.

As you improve, core and spinal strengthening exercises are often added to improve your condition. He is keen on preventing problems returning and advises how to prevent recurrence.

The final chapter normally involves helping you get back to your favourite exercise or sport, whether it’s walking, gardening or padel; he utilises his sports physiotherapy skills to ensure that your spine is robust and well prepared for your next chapter.
